Leadership Message From

Teddy Roosevelt once said "It is not the critic that counts; not the man who points out how the strong man stumbles, or where the doer of deeds could have done them better. The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena, whose face is marred by dust and sweat and blood; who strives valiantly; who errs, who comes up short again and again...who at the best knows, in the end, the triumph of high achievement, and who at the worst, if he fails, at least fails while daring greatly..." Being in the arena, regardless of victory or defeat, is the willingness to consciously take a risk of getting bruised and being vulnerable, but despite knowing this, choose to brave the unknown, act with courage even when you can't predict the outcome, stay true to purpose, and gain unimaginable inner victories.

I sometimes have risen and fallen in the arena, stumbled, had setbacks in life, risen higher, fallen again, and always believe extraordinary growth never has come from playing it safe, but from the moments that push you to the brink, test where real versus imagined edges are, reveal your learning line, and provoke emotions of feeling alive.

In a society that is full of critics, where we hustle for acceptance and belonging, yet desire to live our authentic truth, but fear consequences, we face a crossroads of independent thinking, honoring purpose, and extending empathy for those who step into their own personal arena to pursue being extraordinary. Life is short, so do what you love, live with no regrets, break away from the familiar path, and create your own warrior moments, even if full of slick mud. It is your time to follow what has heart and fire.

It may be impossible for businesses and organizations to achieve sustainable and profound change and innovation without a corresponding change in a leader's beliefs, mindset, and behaviors. Like any brand, the culture of a product/service represents the culture of the people.
